Exterior Auto Detailing Process
Not all auto detailers are created equal. DUO Mobile Auto Detail focuses on using the gentlest processes possible to clean, correct, and protect your vehicles appearance. We begin our details with a wheel and tire cleaning as they are the dirtiest part of the vehicle and need the most attention the majority of the time. After the wheels are cleaned we apply our initial foam bath to soak in to dirt and debris before rinsing for the first time, this loosens more debris than merely spraying off the vehicle with water. A second foam bath is then performed and our hand wash with high quality microfiber mitts begins, always using mitts that were just washed, dried and prepared for that day. Finally we thoroughly dry the vehicle with large twist lock technology drying towels to prep for a coating, wax or polish.
Interior Auto Detailing Process
With DUO Mobile Auto Detail interior detailing goes beyond just a quick cleaning and dusting. We start with carefully placing all personal items into clear plastic storage baggies, so as not to lose or accidentally vacuum up anything. We then begin dusting and our initial vacuuming to remove the majority of debris and dust. With our gentlest chemicals we clean all surfaces, seats, fabrics, upholstery, leather and carpets, also performing fabric and carpet extraction when necessary. After cleaning we apply protectants, enhancers, dressings, coatings and leather conditioner (if applicable) to restore color depth, prevent fading, cracking, and discoloration from long term sun exposure. Stronger cleaning agents are used sparingly and only for tough stains, spots and spills when necessary. Our process includes brushes, compressed air, microfiber foam blocks and microfiber rags. We leave no corner, crack or crevice untouched to give your vehicle. Finally we clean all vehicle glass and mirrors and do our last wipe down, then the scent application of your choice is applied.
Paint Correction & Ceramic Coatings Process
We start with an examination of the exterior, evaluating the condition of the paint, paint protection film, ceramic coating, trim and wheels. We will advise if decontamination treatment is needed, clay barring, and what level of paint correction is needed. Waxes and sealants are excellent to protect a vehicle’s paint but are nowhere near as long lasting as a concentrated ceramic coating or as effective in reducing scratches, swirls, water spots and sun damage. Using our 1 or 2 step paint correction we remove swirls, scratches and paint blemishes to restore gloss, shine and depth to the paint. In addition we restore fogged and faded headlights with our headlight restoration package to restore clear, clean and bright headlight plastic. Finally we apply ceramic coating to the paint, trim, headlights, glass and wheels that lasts up to and beyond 7 years on the paint. We provide limited warranties on our 1, 5 and 7 year ceramic coatings
